I was introduced to this amazing organization back in 2013. After reading about how they help others with cancer, I decided I wanted to be a part of it. This past summer I was introduced to Scott, Michelle and their boys. Scott has been battling colon cancer for the past 6 years. He is currently at stage 4. It has been a challenge with chemo, many surgeries and doctor's appointments.
We decided to meet at a park for the photo session. It was low key, we laughed and made small talk as we walked around. It was apparent to me how tight knit this family has become. Their love and support for each other was beautiful. Afterwards, Michelle thanked me and gave me a hug. It was hard holding back my tears thinking of how much they have all been through. The weather had been uncertain all day, however the rain held out until the moment we drove out of the park. I’d like to think that God had a hand in that.
A note from Michelle:

Thank you so much for your time and efforts to make this possible and available to families dealing with cancer! Your kindness has most certainly touched our hearts and we will treasure these pictures for many, many years!”
